There is HOPE for our world – and for you!

Beloved, there is hope for our world. It may not seem like it and maybe you are struggling to have hope for your own life and the world around you. But when you discover the truth, you will find tremendous hope and rise up with new strength, vision and boldness. This article will show you why there is hope for you and our beautiful world, that God created for His glory...

hope world

God created this world to be a place of hope, full of His presence. A place where all of His creation – you included – can enjoy His love and goodness forever, along with His angels. But the powers of evil have seduced mankind to serve them instead of God. Men fell for the alluring false promises of sin and consequently darkness has invaded this earth. Mankind has been submitted to these demonic forces for thousands of years now.

Some of us blame God for the pain we are going through, which is perfectly understandable. God doesn’t blame you for blaming Him. He knows you can’t see the demonic powers waging war in the world, to destroy mankind. We think God has all things perfectly in His hands, which is far from true. He weeps when children are abused, He cries in agony when satanists rape innocent people during their demonic rituals. His hearts breaks when people sell their soul to the devil, to gain power and success.

God suffers so much more than we can understand. He sees your agony too, your struggles and your pain. And He weeps with you.

hope suffering

But beloved, hold on for there is HOPE.

What is this hope? The hope is that God did something absurd, something wildly crazy, something completely unheard of. He did something that changes everything for all eternity. What did He do? And how does this absurd, crazy and wild act of God help you? He did something no demon or devil, no fallen angel or wicked prophet, no fortuneteller or sorcerer could ever imagine. He became a human being just like you and me.

He became a man: Jesus Christ.

God entered mankind by becoming a human Himself. Can you imagine this? How absurd is that? How crazy is it for the Creator – almighty, eternal, infinitely glorious – to become a mortal being, in a weak and vulnerable body of flesh and blood? Could anyone ever imagine this? No. Nobody could. Even the angels were shocked to the core of their being. No prophet had ever dreamed of this. But God did it. Why?

To start a revolution of hope that would change everything.

He injected Himself into humanity by becoming a human Himself. And He walked on the face of the earth, among us. He felt our pain in His own body. He wept our tears. He was betrayed like we have been betrayed. He was spit at, cheated, rejected and misunderstood. Betrayed by friends and abandoned in His darkest hour, by those He came to save. They killed Him. But by offering up Himself to be betrayed, tortured and murdered by man, He became the great and powerful solution to our needs. He destroyed the powers of sin and death.

How does this give us hope for the future?

Why did God such a crazy thing? Couldn’t He just wave His big fist and smash all of His creation? No. He did that once, with the flood and it didn’t remove sin from the world. It was no lasting solution. That’s why He became a human being to become the living sacrifice for all of us and remove sin from our hearts, once and for all. He was innocent, blameless, pure and holy as can be, He never disobeyed the Father and never gave in to the offers of the evil one. He never lied or compromised, He was the very expression of purity, honesty, righteousness Himself.

Why did He do that? So He could die for us as a perfect sacrifice. So He could take YOUR sins upon Himself. So He could become the One who would die for you, so you could be forgiven and set free. God did the unthinkable.

He died for all of us so we could be set free and have a brand new future full of hope. He said: let ME take your sins and die for you. Let ME become the guilty one, so you can be forgiven.

He broke the power of sin and guilt, so you would no longer have to be punished for your sins. Now the powers of darkness have nothing against you. Before the death of Jesus Christ, the powers of sin had every right to rule over you. They said: you are guilty, so we can reign over you. You have obeyed our whispering voices, so you are now in our power. We have every right to submit you under us and destroy your life. Now they can’t. Sin has been removed from you. Your guilt has been taken away, by Jesus Christ who became the sacrifice for all of us. He destroyed the power of sin and death, in His own body.

Can you imagine such a wildly crazy thing? Is there any greater proof of God’s intense love for us? He was willing to take on His own body the sins of us all. Now we can be forgiven. Now we can be set free from the grip of demonic forces. Now we can come home in the presence of God. Now we can become pure and blameless children of God, not because of our own perfection, but because of His perfection.

God stepped into our deepest darkness, and took all our sins upon Himself. The eternal Word of God, the creator of all things, became a mortal being to give us hope. Wow….

How does that give hope for you and your world?

Think about this for a minute. The world has been invaded by spiritual powers of darkness, to lure mankind into the depths of their underworld, through dark pleasure and selfish wickedness. The gates of the underworld are wide open. Armies of demons are waging war to destroy God’s beautiful creation and establish their own world here, instead of His paradise. But what happened when Jesus Christ came? He overcame the power of sin. He destroyed the authority of the evil one. He wiped out all sin and guilt over our lives. He brings us back into the arms of the Father.

He brought a completely NEW rule on the earth, a brand new realm of hope, the Kingdom of God.

This is the realm where we experience healing, restoration, freedom and hope for our lives. God is inviting you to step into His realm of love. His kingdom of restoration. His rule of righteousness. The world where we find hope. Jesus Christ came to drive out the rule of darkness and establish a new rule of God’s light.

His new rule is not a visible, worldly kingdom. It is a dimension that we enter through the Spirit of God.

It is heaven coming down. Heaven is not of this world. It is not visible, political or violent. It is a reign and rule of love in our hearts. That is the kingdom of God, that Jesus Christ established. A rule of God in our innermost being. That is how Christ is removing the rule of darkness from our world, one person at a time.

Wait a second. Does this mean everything is perfect right away? No. The key to experiencing heaven is understanding the kingdom of God. Jesus Christ said it is like a mustard seed, a tiny seed. A seed is hidden in the ground. But after a while, a tiny, almost unnoticeable shoot breaks through the dirt. Over the course of time, it grows into a small plant, that becomes a little larger and larger, as time goes by. Eventually it become the largest tree of the garden, Jesus said. So the kingdom of God is not something that falls from heaven and makes the entire world perfect all at once. It is a process of increasing growth over time.

hope growing kingdom

Jesus Christ is also called the MORNING LIGHT or the NEW DAY, the hope of the world.

Is a new day instantly blazing bright? Not at all. The new day starts at midnight, when everything is still dark. As time goes by, the subtle glow of the morning sun starts appearing on the horizon. Then the sun rises more and more as time progresses. While the light is already illuminating some areas on the earth, most of it is still in darkness. The sun keeps rising however until the entire earth is bathing in its golden rays of life. What does this mean for you and me? Our lives are also like this.

The kingdom of God is not a perfect realm, that falls out of the sky and makes our lives perfect. It is a mustard seed, a rising sun, an increasing reign of hope over time.

I encourage you to understand this reality of the realm of God. Do not despair when there is darkness in your life. Rise up with Christ, in hope and see His victory. He rose from the death and He has come to establish His presence all over the earth. Millions upon millions of people all over the world are beginning to see Him more and more. The light is getting brighter and brighter. Many nations where the gospel used to be forbidden, have now become open for Christ and millions are entering the realm of God’s love.

His rule is increasing worldwide.

The past years three million people in Iran have given their lives to Christ. WHAT??? Did you say Iran? That demonic, violent Islamic nation, where people are openly beheaded and set on fire? Yes. Iran! All over the world millions are discovering Christ and surrendering to Him. His light is breaking through. The mustard tree is growing. The sun is rising higher.

In your life His light will also break through more and more.

See Him as the Kind of kings. See Him as the blazing sun of righteousness. See Him as the great victor. See Him in His glory. And see His love for you. He does care for you. He loves you. He wants to show you how close He is to you. Your life will increase in light, if you keep focussing on Him. Don’t fall way, in sin and darkness. Rise up out of it. Receive the future of hope that Christ gives you, because Hs is King and He reigns.

God has a plan of hope for your life

Many people have often despaired over mankind and countless false prophecies have been uttered all over the world, about the end of the world. None of these prophecies were from God and none came to pass. Instead, after every dark period of mankind, the bright glorious light of Jesus Christ, became brighter.

For example: during the world wars, many Christians cried out that the world would end now. But what happened? The dark years went by and were followed by unsurpassed revivals all over the world. Amazingly anointed healing revivalists rose up all over the world and waves of healing rolled over the face of the earth. Heroes of Christ like John G. Lake emptied entire hospitals and saw hundreds of thousands healed.

The Lord said through Isaiah that the reign of Christ is never ending and always increasing (Isaiah 9:5-7).

Throughout the Bible the promise is given that the whole earth will be filled with the knowledge of the goodness of the Lord. Prophet David repeated several times that the ungodly will be wiped off the face of the earth. Jesus promised that the righteous would inherit the earth. Daniel prophecies that the kingdom of Christ would become a mountain that fills the entire earth.

Precious child of God… you are not called to be in despair and darkness. You are not called to run after every new false prophecy about the end of the world. You are not called to think that darkness is overtaking the earth.

You are a royal child of God, a prince or princess of the Most high God. He has established His rule on the earth, in the hearts of those who believe in Him. And through His people He is spreading His light all over the world, day by day.

In your own life it may seem like darkness is stronger and you are losing. The same feeling we can have when look at the world. But if we look at the larger picture, we see that the light of Christ is increasing. There are far more believers worldwide now, than there have ever been in all of history.

When I look at my own life, there are periods of trouble and pain and I may feel like its all over. But when I look at the larger picture, and see where I come from, I am amazed at how much light of God has flooded my life, the past 25 years since I walk with Christ.

Do not despair beloved. Have hope, because you see Jesus Christ, the King of kings.

He is not ruling in a visible, earthly kingdom. He is not the great ruler on a political throne on earth. He is the king in HEAVENLY kingdom, that we enter and experience when we live in the Spirit of God. Jesus said this is TRUE worship. Worship in Spirit and truth, for God who is Spirit and He longs for this kind of worship. Worship in the Spirit. We are not looking for a future political kingdom that will be of this world. We are living in the reality of the rule of Christ that is in the Spirit. He transforms us from the inside out and from within us, He expands His rule to others. His rule of love and compassion. His rule of brotherhood and friendship, where there is no betrayal. His rule of peace and joy in our hearts. His rule of righteousness and restoration.

The key is to understand that He dwells with us and inside of us.

He doesn’t drop an external perfect kingdom from heaven on top of us, without changing us. He is building a kingdom FROM WITHIN us. He transforms our innermost being and from within us, He spreads more of His love to the rest of the world. He is not forcing His rule on all men, but He is working in the hearts of men, all over the world. He reveals His love tho our hearts so we would respond to Him with love.

That way He is building a people who LOVE Him with all their heart. Not a people who have been forced to bow before Him, by power and oppression. He is building a nation of God-lovers, who worship Him in Spirit and truth. He is building a heavenly nation of peace among all men. This nation is His habitation, His dwelling place, His family. And through this nation of true lovers of God, He is destroying darkness worldwide.

Become part of His family. Live through the Spirit.

Lay down your carnal mindsets and see His glory as the King who reigns. He is not expanding His reign worldwide with weapons, but through His love. He is doing a deep and glorious work. See His glory, see the King, see His throne and allow Him to be seated inside your heart as well.

Don’t despair for this world. Don’t run after every new false prophecy about the end of the world. That is the voice of the enemy, who wants to spread fear and discouragement. Hear the word of the Lord. He reigns forevermore, His reign expands and He wants to use you to bring His healing to the world around you. So dream about healing for your world. Dream about restoration. And dare to dream for your own life, that the King can restore you more than you could ever dare to dream.

Grasp the hope with all your heart

I encourage you to read this text again, so this gospel of hope will sink in deep into your heart. Ask the Spirit of wisdom to open the eyes of your heart, so you would see this reality of Christ. He is the hope of your life. He is the hope of our world. He is the One who restores you and me. And He is the One who wants to use us to restore the world around us.

Be a dwelling pace of God. Let Him live in your life. Let Him purify, heal and restore you.

Break away from sin and darkness. Stop watching the movies of this world and let your heart be filled with seeing His beauty and glory. Spend time in His throne room, to behold Him and be transformed. Let Him reign and rule in you. Become His holy temple, from where He brings healing to the world. Let Christ be King in your heart and drive out the kings of this world from your life. Be a holy habitation for the Lord.

bible hope verses

Bible Verses About The Hope of Christ’s Kingdom

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end.
(Isaiah 9:6, 7)

The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.
(Matthew 13:31, 32)

And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. … And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
(Daniel 2:35, 44)

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”… Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
(John 3:3-6)

The hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
(John 4:21-24)
